Description

Body is brown with yellow lateral stripes. Some individuals have a spot at the base of the hind wing but this is variable in individuals. Common statewide around lakes and ponds where it is often seen patrolling for hours. In the southern half of the state, be aware of the similar Stripe-winged Baskettail as well as intergrades.
